Calls upon the Commission to take into account the devastating impact of the Mexico City Policy of the Bush Administration, which denies funding to non-governmental organisations which occasionally refer women to abortion clinics as a last resort, especially with regard to programmes for Central and Eastern Europe; calls upon the Commission to fill in the budgetary gap provoked by the Mexico City Policy ;
28. fordert die Kommission auf, insbesondere im Hinblick auf die Programme für Mittel- und Osteuropa die verheerenden Auswirkungen der "Mexiko-City"-Politik der Bush-Regierung in Betracht zu ziehen, die Nichtregierungsorganisationen, die gelegentlich Frauen als letzten Ausweg an Abtreibungskliniken verweisen, finanzielle Mittel versagt; fordert die Kommission auf, die durch die "Mexiko-City"-Politik entstandene Haushaltslücke zu schließen;
