I have reservations about the accusations being levelled at Ukraine, because I have no clear information about the situation and I consider this to be a particularly sensitive time, in that we are at the end of the pre-election period, on the eve of the ballot, and I fear that this resolution, as it stands, might perhaps be seen as interference in the internal affairs of a country and, more importantly, as influencing public opinion.
Ich habe hinsichtlich der gegen die Ukraine gerichteten Vorwürfe meine Vorbehalte, weil ich zur derzeitigen Situation über keine gesicherten Informationen verfüge, und ich halte den jetzigen Zeitpunkt für äußerst heikel, da wir uns am Ende der Wahlkampfperiode und am Vorabend der Wahlen befinden. Zudem befürchte ich, dass dieser Entschließungsantrag in der jetzigen Form möglicherweise als Einmischung in die inneren Angelegenheiten eines Landes und, mehr noch, als eine Beeinflussung der öffentlichen Meinung angesehen werden könnte.
