The Commission thoroughly assessed the application on the basis of a financial and qualitative analysis of the ability of the company concerned and its shareholders to pay the final amount of the fine imposed, taking into account the likely effect such payment would have on the economic viability of the company, and on whether there would a significant loss in asset value as a result of the fine.
Im Rahmen der eingehenden Prüfung des Antrags führte die Kommission eine finanzielle und qualitative Analyse der Fähigkeit des betreffenden Unternehmens und seiner Anteilseigner zur Zahlung der verhängten Geldbuße durch. Dabei berücksichtigte sie die wahrscheinlichen Auswirkungen der Zahlung auf die wirtschaftliche Überlebensfähigkeit des Unternehmens und prüfte auch, ob die Geldbuße dazu führen würde, dass die Aktiva des Unternehmens erheblich an Wert verlieren würden.
