I voted in favour on the basis of the following criteria: first, that the final decision by the European Council will not leave any grey areas, nor will the sovereign and other rights of the Republic of Cyprus be eroded and that assistance to the Turkish Cypriots will not sow seeds of division but will result in the reunification of Cyprus.
Ich habe auf der Grundlage folgender Kriterien dafür gestimmt: Erstens, dass die endgültige Entscheidung des Europäischen Rates keinen Raum für Grauzonen lassen bzw. die Souveränität sowie andere Rechte der Republik Zypern antasten wird und dass die Unterstützung für die türkischen Zyprer nicht Zwietracht säen, sondern zur Wiedervereinigung Zyperns beitragen wird.
