The objectives of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) is to increase agricultural productivity by promoting technical progress and by ensuring the rational development of agricultural production and the optimum utilisation of the factors of production, in particular labour; thus to ensure a fair standard of living for the agricultural community, in particular by increasing the individual earnings of persons engaged in agriculture, to stabilise markets, to ensure the availability of supplies and to ensure that supplies reach consumers at reasonable prices.
Das Ziel der Gemeinsamen Agrarpolitik (GAP) besteht darin, die Produktivität der Landwirtschaft durch Förderung des technischen Fortschritts, Rationalisierung der landwirtschaftlichen Erzeugung und den bestmöglichen Einsatz der Produktionsfaktoren, insbesondere der Arbeitskräfte, zu steigern, auf diese Weise der landwirtschaftlichen Bevölkerung, insbesondere durch Erhöhung des Pro-Kopf-Einkommens der in der Landwirtschaft tätigen Personen, eine angemessene Lebenshaltung zu gewährleisten, die Märkte zu stabilisieren, die Versorgung sicherzustellen und für die Belieferung der Verbraucher zu angemessenen Preisen Sorge zu tragen.
