Die Verordnungen mit Normen für Porree, Auberginen/Melanzani (3*), Zucchini, Tomaten/Paradeiser (4*), Speisezwiebeln, Chicoree, Kirschen, Erdbeeren, Rosenkohl/Kohlsprossen (5*), Tafeltrauben, Salate, krause Endivie und Eskariol, Gurken, Zitrusfrüchte sowie Tafeläpfel und -birnen sehen eine Klasse III vor. Diese Klasse III gilt nur unter besonderen Umständen und hat ihre Bedeutung für den Sektor frisches Obst und Gemüse eingebüßt. Die internationalen Normen kennen eine solche Klasse nicht, so daß es sich der Einfachheit halber empfiehlt, sie auch aus den Gemeinschaftsnormen zu streichen.
