Stresses in particular the importance of expanding the European digital library and developing it as a focal point for projecting Europe's cultural heritage, collective memory and creativity and as a starting point for educational, cultural, innovative and entrepreneurial activities; points out that artistic exchanges constitute one of the pillars on which our cultural heritage and our economy rest, and that their continuity must therefore be safeguarded by means of appropriate mechanisms for passing on knowledge and skills;
45. betont insbesondere, wie wichtig es ist, die europäische digitale Bibliothek zu erweitern und sie als zentrales Instrument für die Förderung des Kulturerbes, des kollektiven Gedächtnisses und der Kreativität Europas sowie als Basis für bildungspolitische, kulturelle, innovative und unternehmerische Tätigkeiten zu nutzen; weist darauf hin, dass künstlerischer Austausch eine der Säulen unseres Kulturerbes und unserer Wirtschaft ist und dass daher sein Fortbestand durch geeignete Mechanismen zur Weitergabe von Wissen und Fähigkeiten sichergestellt werden muss;
