In order to support effective and smooth financial mobility in the long term, it is vital to establish a uniform set of rules to tackle the issue of low customer mobility, and in particular to improve comparison of payment account services and fees and to incentivise payment account switching, as well as to avoid discrimination on the basis of residency against consumers who intend to open and use a payment account on a cross-border basis.
Um langfristig eine effektive und reibungslose finanzielle Mobilität zu unterstützen, ist es von entscheidender Bedeutung, ein einheitliches Regelwerk festzulegen, um das Problem der geringen Verbrauchermobilität anzugehen und insbesondere den Vergleich von Zahlungskontodiensten und -entgelten zu erleichtern, um zu einem Wechsel des Zahlungskontos zu ermutigen und um die Diskriminierung von Verbrauchern aus Gründen des Wohnsitzes zu verhindern, wenn sie ein Zahlungskonto im Ausland einrichten und nutzen möchten.
