The rehabilitation programme reflects safety priorities at the airport and will include resurfacing of the airport’s runway, taxiway and apron areas, improve landing lights, ensure adequate water supply in case of fire and improve aircraft fuel supply infrastructure.
Das Sanierungsprogramm ist auf die Durchführung vorrangiger Sicherheitsmaßnahmen ausgerichtet. Es umfasst die Erneuerung der Start- und Landebahn, der Rollbahnen und des Vorfelds, die Verbesserung der Flugfeldbeleuchtung, die Sicherung einer ausreichenden Löschwasserversorgung und die Verbesserung der Infrastruktur zur Versorgung der Flugzeuge mit Treibstoff.
