In order to bring the epidemic under control before it spreads to the displaced persons grouped on the outskirts of Monrovia and in Buchanan, the Community aid will cover the opening of separate wings for cholera patients at three of the city's hospitals, medical equipment and drugs, including 12 000 litres of drip-feed solution, help with sanitation and logistics, as well as a contribution towards the wages of medical staff and the costs of the public information campaign.
Um die Epidemie, die droht, sich auf die Vertriebenen, die sich rings um die Stadt und in Buchanan konzentrieren, auszudehnen, möglichst rasch einzudämmen, ist mit der Hilfe der Gemeinschaft die Öffnung von Isolierstationen für die Behandlung der Cholerapatienten in drei Krankenhäusern der Stadt, die Bereitstellung von medizinischem Gerät und Medikamenten, darunter 12.000 Liter Infusionsflüssigkeit, sanitäre und logistische Hilfe und ein Beitrag zu den Kosten des ärztlichen Personals und zu der Kampagne zur Information und Aufklärung der Bevölkerung vorgesehen.
