There is considerable support for a global and long term approach to the subject of security of supply - both in terms of looking at the totality of energy supply, not compartmentalising the analysis into sectors, and including energy demand management; and in terms of following the global picture, i.e. linking energy policy decisions into wider international developments and broader policy issues, including foreign policy, internal market, transport, agriculture, environment, education, employment, international poverty issues etc.
Ein umfassendes und langfristiges Konzept für die Versorgungssicherheit findet breite Unterstützung, und zwar im Hinblick auf die Gesamtheit der Energieversorgung ohne sektorspezifische Analyse und unter Einbeziehung der Energiebedarfsbeherrschung wie auch im Sinne der Entwicklung einer globalen Perspektive, d.h. die Einbindung energiepolitischer Entscheidungen in allgemeinere internationale Entwicklungen und weitere politische Zusammenhänge wie Außenpolitik, Binnenmarkt, Verkehr, Landwirtschaft, Umwelt, Bildung, Beschäftigung, Entwicklungshilfe usw.
