The other day I was in the sitting of the Mexican Congress, an historic sitting – and I should point out that it was also brought about by the votes of a sister group of ours, The Green Ecologist party of Mexico – and a vote that gave rise to a calm, respectful and I would say historical dialogue which demonstrated the maturity of the Mexican people and legislators and also the maturity of the Zapatista movement, which offered peace for peace.
Ich nahm neulich an der Sitzung des Kongresses von Mexiko, einer historischen Sitzung teil – die auch mit den Stimmen unserer Schwesterfraktion, den Grünen Umweltschützern von Mexiko, unterstützt wurde, das sei nicht vergessen –, und konnte eine Abstimmung verfolgen, die einen friedlichen und Achtung gebietenden – ich würde sagen, historischen – Dialog einleitete, der für die Reife des Volkes und der mexikanischen Gesetzgeber und auch der zapatistischen Bewegung sprach, die Frieden gegen Frieden angeboten hatte.
