These are: maximum work periods and minimum rest periods, minimum paid annual holidays, minimum rates of pay, including overtime rates, the conditions of hiring out of workers, in particular the protection of workers hired out by temporary employment undertakings, health, safety and hygiene at work, protective measures with regard to the terms and conditions of employment of pregnant women or women who have recently given birth and of children and young people and equality of treatment between men and women and other provisions on non-discrimination.
Dabei handelt es sich um folgende Bereiche: Höchstarbeitszeiten und Mindestruhezeiten, bezahlter Mindestjahresurlaub, Mindestlohnsätze einschließlich der Überstundensätze, die Bedingungen für die Überlassung von Arbeitskräften, insbesondere Schutz der von Leiharbeitsunternehmen zur Verfügung gestellten Arbeitskräfte, Gesundheitsschutz, Sicherheit und Hygiene am Arbeitsplatz, Schutzmaßnahmen im Zusammenhang mit den Arbeits- und Beschäftigungsbedingungen von Schwangeren und Wöchnerinnen, Kindern und Jugendlichen, Gleichbehandlung von Männern und Frauen sowie andere Nichtdiskriminierungsbestimmungen.
