The German delegation, supported by the Belgian and Danish delegations, asked the Commission, through an amendment to Directive 76/769/EEC , to draw up a ban on the marketing of the product "Navy Blue 018112" which is used to colour wool and polyamide staples, and a ban on organic compounds of zinc, in particular TBT (Tributyltin), an anti-fouling product used to prevent the proliferation of micro-organisms, plants or animals on the hulls of ships, in wood and in textiles.
Mit Unterstützung der belgischen und der dänischen Delegation ersuchte die deutsche Delegation die Kommission, mittels einer Änderung der Richtlinie 76/769/EWG das Verbot der Vermarktung des Erzeugnisses "Navy Blue 018112", das zur Einfärbung von Wolle und Polyamidfasern verwendet wird, sowie ein Verbot organischer Zinkverbindungen, insbesondere von TBT (Tributylzinn), einem "Anti-fouling"-Produkt, das dazu eingesetzt wird, das Wuchern von Mikroorganismen, Pflanzen oder Tieren auf Schiffsrümpfen, in Holz oder in Textilien zu verhindern, vorzubereiten
