However, given that aid for ethyl alcohol, in the case in point, necessarily produces effects solely on the market for fossil and plant-based fuels (to which the rules of competition apply), the Commission considers that the scheme may be examined in the full light of the Articles cited to the extent that they produce effects, albeit indirect effects, on certain other products which are all subject to Articles 92 and 93 of the Treaty.
Da jedoch in diesem Fall die Beihilfe für Ethylalkohol zwangsläufig und ausschließlich Auswirkungen auf den Markt für fossile und pflanzliche Brennstoffe hat (für die die Wettbewerbsregeln gelten), ist die Kommission der Auffassung, daß die Regelung unter dem Gesichtspunkt der genannten Artikel geprüft werden kann, sofern sie sich, sei es auch nur mittelbar, auf bestimmte andere Erzeugnisse auswirkt, die alle den Artikeln 92 und 93 EG-Vertrag unterliegen.
