Allerdings muss noch klargestellt werden, dass der Eigentümer eines Altschiffs, sofern die Abwrackwerft bestimmte gefährliche Stoffe nicht bewirtschaften kann, eine andere Werft wählen oder die betreffenden Stoffe vor der Abwrackung selbst entfernen muss, damit sie sicher entsorgt oder aufbereitet werden können.
