Ferruzzi, the Italian conglomerate with interests in the chemical, energy, engineering and other sectors, is acquiring the whole of Fondiaria SpA, an Italian company active in the insurance and financial sectors. Hitherto Fondiaria has been jointly controlled by Ferruzzi and Macla International SA, a holding company regrouping certain interests of members of the De Benedetti family.
Der u.a. in den Bereichen Chemie, Energie und Technik tätige italienische Mischkonzern Ferruzzi beabsichtigt, die vollständige Kontrolle über das ebenfalls italienische Versicherungs- und Finanzunternehmen Fondiaria SpA zu übernehmen, das bislang von Ferruzzi und der Holdinggesellschaft Macla International SA, in der bestimmte Interessen von Mitgliedern der Familie De Benedetti zusammengefaßt sind, gemeinsam kontrolliert wurde.
