The Basque region has been and is still benefitting from Community support in that framework through its BIC called BEAZ and located here in Bilbao; - another effort has been made in order to develop local business with the seed capital pilot scheme, which provides money to new companies facing the critical problem of access to risk capital at the early stages of their development.
