What is more, the Agency’s tasks seem destined to increase, to become more complex and, in fact, insurmountable so long as the root of the problem is not tackled: on the one hand, Europe remains a social and financial Eldorado for would-be illegal immigrants, in spite of the dangers of their journey and the problems they encounter on the ground; on the other, cooperation policy, as inadequate as it is, is being threatened by the immigration of degree-holding professionals orchestrated by the EU itself. It is therefore crucial to stop the immigration suction-pump effect and the policies under way.
Außerdem scheinen die Aufgaben der Agentur zuzunehmen, komplexer und tatsächlich unlösbar zu werden, solange das Problem nicht an seiner Wurzel gepackt wird: Einerseits bleibt Europa ein soziales und finanzielles Eldorado für illegale Möchtegern-Einwanderer, trotz der Gefahren bei ihrer Einwanderung und der Probleme, auf die sie vor Ort treffen; andererseits ist die derzeitige unzulängliche Kooperationspolitik durch die Einwanderung von Akademikern bedroht, bei der die EU selbst die Fäden zieht. Die Saugpumpenwirkung der Einwanderung und die Richtlinien, an denen gearbeitet wird, müssen daher unbedingt gestoppt werden.
