Consequently, 'public undertakings' as defined in Directive 2004/17/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council (5), and undertakings entrusted with the operation of services of general economic interest, in fields such as education and training, medical care, social needs in relation to health care and longterm care, childcare, access to, and reintegration into, the labour market, social housing and the care and social inclusion of vulnerable groups, should be covered as well.
Dies sollte entsprechend auch für "öffentliche Unternehmen" im Sinne der Definition in der Richtlinie 2004/17/EG des Europäischen Parlaments und des Rates (5) und Unternehmen, die mit der Erbringung von Dienstleistungen von allgemeinem wirtschaftlichen Interesse in Bereichen wie Bildung und Ausbildung, medizinische Versorgung, soziale Bedürfnisse in Bezug auf Gesundheitsversorgung und Langzeitpflege, Kinderbetreuung, Zugang zum oder Wiedereingliederung in den Arbeitsmarkt, sozialer Wohnungsbau und Betreuung und soziale Inklusion gefährdeter Gruppen betraut sind, gelten.
