(1) In 2001, based on an assessment of the associated risks, organisational structure and cost effectiveness, the Commission services implemented new financial management circuits outlining the key stages involved in the authorisation of financial transactions and respecting the basic principle that the initiation and verification functions of a transaction should be kept separate.
(1) Aufgrund einer Bewertung der zu erwartenden Risiken und der Auswirkungen auf Organisationsstruktur und Kosteneffizienz haben die Dienststellen der Kommission im Laufe des Jahres 2001 die bei der Genehmigung finanzieller Transaktionen anfallenden wesentlichen Stadien dargestellt und damit neue Abläufe in der Finanzverwaltung eingeführt, jeweils unter Beachtung des Grundprinzips, dass die Funktionen der Einleitung und Prüfung eines Vorgangs getrennt gehalten werden sollen.
