5.2. By way of derogation from Article 7, cross-border workers who are well known to the border guards owing to their frequent crossing of the border at the same border crossing point and who have not been revealed by an initial check to be the subject of an alert in the SIS or in a national data file shall be subject only to random checks to ensure that they hold a valid document authorising them to cross the border and fulfil the necessary entry conditions.
5.2. Abweichend von Artikel 7 sind Grenzarbeitnehmer, die den Grenzschutzbeamten wohl bekannt sind, weil sie die Grenze häufig an derselben Grenzübergangsstelle überschreiten, und bei denen eine erste Kontrolle ergeben hat, dass sie weder im SIS noch in einem nationalen Fahndungssystem ausgeschrieben sind, nur stichprobenweise daraufhin zu überprüfen, ob sie ein gültiges Grenzübertrittspapier mit sich führen und die erforderlichen Einreisevoraussetzungen erfüllen.
