funding one of the sectors that has been hardest hit by the cuts, resulting in the abandonment and neglect of many valuable cultural sites that have fallen into oblivion, to the detriment of society and the tourism sector; calls on the Commission to ensure that information about EU funds for the preservation and promotion of cultural tourism is easily accessible for all relevant stakeholders, such as SMEs and civil society organisations at national, regional and local level, and made available in the EU’s official languages,
