Born in 1944, Hans Jung was Assistant, and subsequently Assistant Lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Berlin, and Rechtsanwalt in Frankfurt am Main. Thereafter, at the Court of Justice of the European Communities, he worked in turn as a Lawyer-linguist from 1 August 1976 to 30 June 1978, as a Legal Secretary from 1 July 1978 to 31 October 1986, and as Deputy Registrar at the Court of Justice from 1 November 1986 to 26 September 1989, before being appointed Registrar of the Court of First Instance from 27 September 1989 to 6 October 2005.
Hans Jung, geboren 1944, war Assistent, später Assistenzprofessor an der Rechtswissenschaftlichen Fakultät der Freien Universität Berlin und sodann Rechtsanwalt in Frankfurt a. M. Im Anschluss daran war er beim Gerichtshof der Europäischen Gemeinschaften vom 1. August 1976 bis zum 30. Juni 1978 als Jurist-Übersetzer, vom 1. Juli 1978 bis zum 31. Oktober 1986 als Referent und vom 1. November 1986 bis zum 26. September 1989 als Hilfskanzler des Gerichtshofs tätig, bevor er für die Zeit vom 27. September 1989 bis zum 6. Oktober 2005 zum Kanzler des Gerichts erster Instanz gewählt wurde.
